A retreat without a program; when what used to work no longer does
Calma Essence is a unique retreat where nothing is asked of you.
This retreat is created for women who sense that something has shifted.
Not always dramatically — but enough to feel that continuing as before no longer fits.
What once gave direction, structure or satisfaction may no longer do so.
Not because something is wrong, but because a new phase is quietly asking for space.
This retreat does not offer answers or solutions.
It offers the conditions to stop — long enough for clarity to return on its own.
Not by forcing insight,
but by removing pressure, noise and constant doing.
Why this retreat may resonate
This retreat may resonate if you recognise one or more of the following:
you feel that something has changed, internally or externally
what once worked no longer brings clarity or ease
you feel caught between holding on and letting go
you carry many roles and responsibilities, while feeling less connected inwardly
you long for clarity, without needing to decide anything yet
Here, reflection is not required.
Nothing needs to be processed, analysed or resolved.
Who this retreat is for
This retreat is created for women who find themselves in a phase of transition — often, but not exclusively, in their 40s or early 50s.
You may be functioning well on the outside, while inwardly feeling restless, uncertain or tired of carrying everything alone.
Some women arrive having tried books, methods or self-development and feeling done with adding more.
Others have no interest in self-help at all, but feel worn down by pace, pressure and constant input.
What connects them is not a story, but a need:
to stop — without expectations.
No prior retreat, coaching or yoga experience is needed.
You are welcome exactly as you are.
What you can expect
Calma Essence is intentionally simple and spacious.
A small, intimate group (minimum 5, maximum 8 participants)
Gentle, restorative yoga (restorative & somatic yin), offered as an invitation, led by Tessa Röhrig
Short daily meditative moments (20–30 minutes), without instruction or goals, led by Tessa Röhrig
Plenty of free time, silence and time in nature
One reflective guest session on life transitions and inner direction by Tessa Röhrig
One intuitive art workshop, using the hands rather than words
Personal attention within a calm, unstructured setting
There is no pressure to share or explain yourself.
Everything unfolds at your own pace.
This is not a silent retreat.
And it is not a guided program.
It is a held environment where nothing is required.
