The Philosophy of
Solenne
Pure . Honest . Essential
Solenne is the name of our restaurant and the expression of our culinary philosophy. Inspired by the French word solennel, it reflects a way of cooking that values sincerity, restraint and presence.
At Solenne, flavours are allowed to speak for themselves. Each dish is composed with respect for the season, the product and the moment in which it is served.
The kitchen
at Solenne
The kitchen at Solenne is guided by chef Gerard, whose approach is rooted in simplicity, balance and deep respect for ingredients.
Rather than imposing a personal signature, Gerard cooks with attention to what the season offers and what feels right in the moment. His role is not to dominate the experience, but to quietly support it — creating dishes that feel natural, thoughtful and precise.
At Solenne, we cook for guests who appreciate calm attention, honest flavours and the luxury of time. If you enjoy dining that feels personal and unhurried, you will feel at home at our table.
