We are delighted to meet you! We are the Langenhof family: Gerard, Annemarie, Moos, Puk, Bo and our beloved dachshunds Willem and Lola. Together we will do everything we can to make your stay at Finca las Calmas absolutely unforgettable.

Meet us, Gerard, Moos, Annemarie, Puk and Bo Langenhof. World travelers, former expats in China and entrepreneurs in heart and soul. For us ‘never a dull moment’ has become our way of life.
Having experienced ups and downs we know like no others how life can challenge you. Through the hard way (Covid and a partial bankruptcy) we learned how to just get up and move forward, not looking back.
All our experiences showed us what really matters in life. Family, friends, deep connections with others and helping others who need it. The choice of starting a boutique hotel did not come as a surprise. More then ever we feel the need to inspire others with our story and way of life.
We chose this hotel because it is truly an exclusive getaway. It is hard to describe the vibe that prevails here. You have to come and visit to experience it. Located almost solitary, on a plateau of 740m high covered with olive trees, the 360° view on the Sierras is absolutely stunning. With hardly anyone passing by, the serene tranquility and nature is overwhelming. Even the most stressed people will come to a rest here.
We want all our guests to feel at home and carefree. We do anything to unburden you and to make you feel relaxed. From interior to the pool, to our gastronomy, to hospitality, we always chose the best. As world travellers we know what is needed to make a luxury holiday or short stay an unforgettable experience.
